Finding Our Way

Looking at six ways of envisioning the life of our church from scripture and Christian tradition. We will discuss how well each one fits our situation here in Redcliffe and in the UK. We will try to find the most inspiring for today and tomorrow. No prior knowledge is required, just an inquisitive frame of mind!

Palm Sunday: Come and Sing! The Creation
Sunday 13 April

Join us to sing this wonderful oratorio in the beautiful surroundings of St Mary Redcliffe Church.
To coincide with our Lent Exhibition, Eden Bleeds, we invite you to join us for a performance of selected movements from Haydn’s wonderful oratorio The Creation. Conducted by Joe Cryan (Director of Music at SMR) and played on the world famous St Mary Redcliffe organ. It is free to sign up and music will be provided.
Rehearsal 2:00pm – 4:00pm, with the St Mary Redcliffe Choir and soloists joining us for a full rehearsal from 4:45pm. Performance from 5:30pm.

A traditional Maundy Thursday Service including the opportunity for feet or hand washing.

Good Friday Three Hours

Come along for three hours or drop in for as long as you can. The service will include a guest speaker, music from our Choir and time for reflective silence.

The Three Hours will feature, Chris Rose, Director of Amos Trust, who will be sharing stories from the work they do in Climate Justice and Palestine.

Good Friday for Families
During the Good Friday Three Hours service, we will be hosting a drop-in session for families, featuring free activities,in Faithspace on nearby Prewett Street.

Easter Sunday Eucharist

Celebrate Easter Day on Sunday 20 April with a special sung Eucharist service, broadcast live on BBC1 from one of England's finest parish churches. Free tickets for Easter Day are available via Eventbrite.
Useful information:
- For those coming to the service on Easter Day, please remember that the service starts at 10.00am and we are asking everyone to be in their seats by 9.30am. The church will open around 9.00am for people to come in.
- You do not have to have signed up to attend the service .. all are very welcome indeed.
