The building is open daily for all to visit, reflect, pray, join in formal worship or simply “be”.

Sunday
8am Holy Communion (currently paused - to be restarted in early 2026)
This quiet and beautiful service of Holy Communion, using the 1662 Book of Common Prayer, takes place in the Lady Chapel. This service includes a sermon but no hymns and lasts for approximately 45 minutes.
9.30am Choral Mattins
This traditional and musically uplifting service is led by the choir who sing psalms and canticles from the 1662 Book of Common Prayer, as well as an anthem. There are also two readings from the Bible. The service lasts around 30 minutes and is streamed on SMR LIVE. When the choir is on leave the service takes place in the Lady Chapel.
10.30am Sung Eucharist
This is the main service of the week and includes processions, uplifting hymns, a thoughtful sermon, beautiful anthems sung by the choir and an invitation to everyone to come forward to receive the bread and wine of Holy Communion or a blessing. Children are invited to join Children’s Church which takes place during the first 40 mins of the service nearby. The service lasts around 75 minutes and is streamed on SMR LIVE. There is fresh coffee and tea at the back of church after the service.
5.30pm Choral Evensong
This traditional and musically uplifting service includes the choir singing psalms and canticles from the 1662 Book of Common Prayer, as well as an anthem. There are also two readings from the Bible, prayers and a sermon or reflection at the end. The service lasts around 60 minutes and is streamed on SMR LIVE.
Monday and Thursday
8.30am Morning Prayer
This service takes place in the Choir and includes the saying of psalms and canticles, readings and prayers. This is when the prayer requests left by visitors are read out and offered to God. Everyone is welcome. This service sometimes also takes place on other weekdays.
Wednesday
11am Holy Communion
A quiet service in the Lady Chapel which includes readings, a short sermon or reflection and prayers. Everyone is invited to come forward to receive the bread and wine of Holy Communion or a blessing.
