Medieval Graffiti Discovery Session

Friday 25 August from 2:30pm - 5:00pm.

Did you know that medieval churches are often covered in strange, enigmatic signs and symbols, the full meaning of which has often been lost or become obscure with the passage of time.

Some are believed to have been apotropaic (having the power to avert evil) in purpose, while others are more pictorial, like the above image of a church from our Outer North Porch - a part of the building that dates from 1325.

Join us on Friday 25 August to help us find more - free tickets are available through Eventbrite by following our link in bio.
