It is the custom each year to permit the ringing of a number of peals on the world famous bells of St Mary Redcliffe. The opportunity to ring a peal is sought after by campanolgists from all over the UK every year. However the number of peals per year is usually restricted to 6 attempts having regard to our neighbours. With this in mind they are usually rung between 10am and 2pm on a Saturday or a Bank Holiday and can last up to four hours of uninterrupted ringing. The dates of peals for the rest of 2008 are;
Bank Holiday Monday 25th August at 10.00am
Saturday 4th October at 10.00am
Saturday 7th December at 10.00am
