Giving is born of grace. It is an obedient, grateful response to God's gift in creation and in Christ, and the commands of Scripture. Christians are called to be generous in every aspect of their lives, in terms of hospitality, time and skills as well as money.
In 2 Corinthians 8-9 Paul teaches that we should give:
You have made us your people,
richly provided us with good gifts, and called us to live for you; may gratitude be in our hearts; may generosity be in our hands; may justice and righteousness guide our feet;
and may the life of your Kingdom and the joy of Heaven be found among us.

Supporting St Mary Redcliffe
We live in challenging but exciting times: in 2013 our church adopted an ambitious vision to release our potential as a beacon of God's kingdom.
"...the church is actively seeking out and working with other faith and community groups to tackle all kinds of social, economic and environmental problems..."
Maximising our income is vital if we are to achieve our vision, and grow in ambition and reach. Planned regular giving by our congregation is a crucial part of our income and enables us to:
Please do consider prayerfully if you can support us through regular giving, and if you already give, review annually.
There are also many ways in which you can give your time and talents in service of the Church and community, just ask us!
Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
