St Mary Redcliffe Conservation Plan

2005 has seen the publication of the Conservation Plan, probably the most comprehensive document about St Mary Redcliffe that has ever been produced.

The Plan comprises two volumes, the first focusing on the setting of the church and the second on the church itself. It draws together existing scholarship and much new research and thinking, outlines the significance of the church and its setting and identifies issues that threaten them and policies that will mitigate their vulnerability. The Plan provides an authorative context in which to consider both future conservation work and proposals for development of neigbouring land.
